It is the first contact most employers will have with you. If you don't look good on paper your quest for your dream job ends abruptly at the front desk. To get a coveted interview you need a resume that:

Build a Better Resume in 90 Minutes will teach you to create a resume that will get you noticed by employers - a skill that you'll use for the rest of your career. The workshop consists of a 90-minute session of instruction and hands-on resume writing in our online conference room. You also have the option of listening via telephone only.

During the 90-minute session you'll learn how to:

• Use your cover letter to build a bridge between you and the employer.

• Maximize your skills, experience, interests, and abilities – even the ones you’ve always taken for granted.

• Select a resume format designed to highlight your specific job skills and experience.

Each participant will complete the exercises in the step-by-step workbook prior to convening for the session. This will provide the background information needed to begin building a better resume during the session. 

We'll critique a few resumes as a group and discuss issues encountered during the resume writing process, as time allows. The goal is to complete a draft of your resume during the session. Each participant will also get one resume critique within ten business days of the session.
